Specification and Preparation Phase - Description1

Short Description

The “Specification and Preparation Phase” groups tasks together which have to be done before performing associated implementation steps. Typically, these define some system boundaries and requirements, which should be respected by the following implementation step. The outputs of these specification and preparation tasks can have dependencies on each other and provide certain inputs for the implementation phase.

The sub-workflow of the “Specification and Preparation Phase” as depicted in the above interactive figure defines tasks  for these pre-steps (blue rectangular boxes) which produce specification documents and data files as outputs which are needed for later implementation or experimentation steps as input.

Explore the different tasks and outputs by either clicking on their symbols or by using the navigation menus on the left side of this page.
