Analysis Result Description
This form introduces an optimization model that is intended to be used within a model predictive control (MPC) scheme. A quadratic mathematical programming approach is used. Open-loop results for two days are shown. The model works as expected and is intended to be used in closed loop within a co-simulation approach. The low-fidelity model of the MPC is thereby coupled with a high-fidelity model. The MPC is updated every 15 minutes with the current state of the high-fidelity model and run to find optimal set-points for the next day. Only the optimal set-points for the current time step are applied to the model. This procedure is repeated for an entire year.
